Poetry of Faith: Lives of Seeking and Mindfulness

Faith is at the heart of the spiritual journey, giving it direction and purpose. Poetry is sacred writing and can deepen our faith. Inherent in all poetry is the sacred task of seeking, noticing, being mindful, and knowing ourselves as “loved sinner saints.”

This retreat will explore our life of paying attention, faith, prayer, and journaling. Come for a time of listening with the ears of the heart and writing with the souls of your fingers. Readings from: St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. Theresa of Avila, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Augustine of Hippo, and St. John of the Cross.

Led by the Rev. Dr. Mark Francisco Bozzuti-Jones, Priest and Director for Spiritual Formation at Trinity Retreat Center, and Dr. Kathy Bozzuti-Jones, Associate Director for Spiritual Practices, Retreats, and Pilgrimage at Trinity Church Wall Street.

ROOM RATES AND OPTIONS:

Single room (Twin bed) with private bath: $320

Double room (Twin beds) with private bath: $220 per person/$440 total

ADA Compliant and Triple rooms may be available upon request.

All meals are included.  

There are limited king beds available for a $100 surcharge.
