Lay and ordained people from across the African diaspora are invited to come together for prayer, rest, walks, and the sharing of stories. This retreat offers a time of healing and reflection among nature and through the rhythm of prayer. Come away and rest; then leave energized to love and serve the Lord.

We will use the book Psalms for Black Lives: Reflections for the Work of Liberation, by the Rev. Drs. Gabby Cudjoe Wilkes and Andrew Wilkes, for reflection, conversation, and faith sharing. The Rev. Drs. Gabby Cudjoe Wilkes and Andrew Wilkes are the co-founding, co-lead pastors of The Double Love Experience Church in Brooklyn, New York. They are also the co-authors of Psalms for Black Lives: Reflections for the Work of Liberation (Upper Room Books, 2022), which is available now. Rev. Gabby is a public theologian, strategist & innovation coach with over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of faith, culture, leadership & strategy. Rev. Andrew is a political scientist and the author of Freedom Notes: Reflections on Faith, Justice, and the Possibility of Democracy. Come join them and the Rev. Double room (Twin beds) with private bath: $220 per person/$440 total
