The Rev. Tammy Theis-Satterlee, M.A.Ed. (she/her)

The Rev. Tammy Theis-Satterlee, M.A.Ed. (she/her) is an interfaith/interspiritual minister and spiritual director. She serves as Bridge Pastor at Seymour Congregational Church in Seymour, Connecticut. Tammy has been inspired by Mary Magdalene since her childhood and has developed an intimate relationship with her over her lifetime. In 2018, Tammy took a pilgrimage to Provence with her daughter, to the cave where Mary Magdalene is said to have spent the last thirty years of her life atop a mountain called La Sainte-Baume.

Tammy is passionate about weaving diverse communities together to make the world a more loving and compassionate place to be. She began her career in Anchorage, Alaska working with women and children residing in a drug and alcohol recovery center. Since then, as a teacher, artist, and writer, Tammy has spent much of her professional life inspiring parents to remember how to play and live into their role as parents, so they can best support and advocate for their children. Tammy is also a supervisor in the One Spirit Learning Alliance Interfaith Spiritual Counseling and Companioning program and curated the program content focused on the Healing Power of Imagination. Tammy is trained in Experiential Dreamwork, SoulCollage®️, and Heartmath. She has two children, a son, Nate, and future daughter-in-law Cassie, and daughter Julia.
